Pianist and music educator Matthias Vogt has been working with piano and music lessons for more than 20 years. Starting with a solid classical formation in music he soon specialized in all kinds of popular music. Therefore playing music by ear, improvising, reading chord charts, lead sheets and songbooks as well as classical western music notation are a natural part of his music teaching. In the last 10 years Brazilian music became an important reference not only in his artistic work but also in his music teaching leading to the development of a piano method focused on brazilian music styles which is still in progress.

To attend the minimum techninal requirements for online piano lessons you need a computer, tablet or smartphone to run the Google Meet app or any other video conference app like Zoom, Whereby, Skype etc. if you’d like to use another one. Furthermore you need a physical keyboard or digital piano with included speakers or a amplification system to have the full learning experience during the lessons. It is also recommended to use headphones to accompany the video lesson for the best sound setting.
