Both fans of jazz and instrumental music the JaZZ100StreZZ founders Henrique Bochud (drums) and Matthias Vogt (piano) wanted to play their favourite music in the suburban districts of the south of the city of São Paulo where they lived, an area that traditionally didn't offer much events of that kind.
The first supporter of this idea was producer Jaime Diko Lopes which offered his event space for the first concerts and jam sessions in 2012. Together with bass player Danilo Vianna Castro, Matthias Vogt and Henrique Bochud defined the first trio formation for regular concerts.
Later the concerts used to take place in the nearby Centro Cultural Monte Azul and the project became a tribute concert series presenting the repertoire of famous american and brazilian jazz and latin composers like Bill Evans, Horace Silver, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Bob Marley, Ivan Lins, Marcos Valle, Azymuth and others.
