Music is my life! But Nature too! The former I live in my daily work as jazz musician, composer and music educator, the latter I practice in some spare time going on nature excursions, taking care of my balkony garden and not at least illustrating nature objects, plants and birds. Commonly the two areas interchange and inspire musical projects like Passarinhada Musical, songs like Árvore (The Tree), illustration series like Jazz Portraits and of course my daily family life with my lovely wife Thâmile and wonderful daughter Serena.

Born in Stuttgart (Germany) I've been moving musically between the continents of Europe and South America for more than 13 years now, combining in my compositions my own roots in classical music, my deep love for jazz music and improvisation and the passion for the rhythm, harmony and poetry of what I call my second home: Brazil.
